Spring has sprung, but winter swells aren't finished with the North Shore.

Pipeline proved that yesterday as 8 to 12-foot, practically perfect surf pumped through the lineup with some bombs even breaking on the outer reef.

Surf legend Nathan Fletcher—and a handful of other local pros and rippers–paddled out and got lucky. As seen in the post below, Fletcher might've scored the wave of the day and paid his dues too (just a little).

Fletcher captioned the post above:

"Pipeline 3/25/24 Stacking on 1st reef

"@stretchboards@astrodeck And always thank you to my brother @nellysmagicmoments"

The post shows a photo sequence of Fletcher scoring what looks like a strong contender for the wave of the day, followed by a shot of him with a broken board.

Small price to pay for a dream wave like that.

That's just one wave Pipe produced yesterday. For more, check out the footage below.

"A massive Pipeline swell hits the North Shore of Oahu late in the season. Filmed on March 25, 2024 at Banzai Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu. Wave heights were in the 8-12ft range with some second reef Pipeline sets.

"Conditions are near perfect, with off-shore winds and crystal clear blue water. With the CT gone, local surfers enjoy surfing Pipeline with a less crowded line-up. Pipeline is no joke, it is known to be one of the most dangerous waves in the world.

"Watch as local pro surfers like Mason Ho, Koa Rothman, Nathan Florence, and more charge this huge late season swell!"
